CWAY Africa Ministries (CAM) is a mission relational, faith-based non-profit organisation and a family of friends, Rooted in Community, Grounded in Faith, dedicated to empower and improve the lives of disadvantaged people living in remote-rural villages and slums of Uganda, especially the children, youth and women who would otherwise have no access to social services and would never hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our work includes education, healthcare, evangelism, discipleship, community outreach, leadership development and church partnerships.

Our greatest transformation happens when we work hand in hand with the communities where God has placed us to serve. Listening to their needs, we plan and come along with them to achieve their goals and improve their lives both now and in the future. We operate a nursery and primary school educating and feeding children of age 3 to 15 years. Most of them come from broken families, some are orphans, abandoned and others from poor homes. We endeavour to meet their physical, social and spiritual needs, as part of our holistic approach to community restoration and development.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES | VOLUNTEER IN UGANDA – AFRICA

We know that International Volunteering and Mission Work is not for everyone. However, our community school and organisation are always in need of volunteers. Maybe they feel called to lead a medical team wishing to gain field experience and help beyond their neighbourhood! Maybe they are Teachers willing to help with their skills, more tools and ideas to reach our students in new ways. Come hold a workshop! Maybe they are builders or contractors with tools, techniques, and expertise that will enable us to build our new classrooms and toilets plus renovations faster! Maybe they just love kids and want to come to show our kids they are valuable! We welcome any and all visitors. We know that stepping outside of their comfort zone will change their life forever. Maybe they can help us achieve our mission in a personal way.

No specific skills are required, just have passion and love for children, youth, women and be social. They must have yearned for a long time to help someone in greatest need. They do not have to be so qualified or experienced to join the project, whether they want to volunteer during gap year, career break, or vacation, they will have a role to play, and their efforts will make a lasting impact.
