The Sanctuary Services Limited Uganda was founded by a passionate Ugandan citizen Known as Namanya Herman with an intention to reach out to the needs and desires of anyone around the world who would interact with the Uganda environment in terms of charity, business, discovery, construction,insurance, property, consulation and many more fields.
We are a quick-witted and fast growing organization here in the Republic of Uganda. We offer the following Services with a high tendency of Professionalism here at “The Sanctuary Services;

Community Empowerment for Creative Innovation (CECI Uganda) is a Refugee-led Community-based Organization founded in May 2017 to address ethnic cleavages, conflict tensions, and other challenges refugees face, such as poverty, unemployment, and cultural intolerance. We prevent, reduce, and transform violent conflicts in refugee communities through locally-led innovations in peacebuilding, education, livelihood, and environment driven by local needs. We empower youth, women, and girls with the tools to build resilience, prevent conflicts, rebuild livelihoods, and participate actively in local leadership, peacebuilding, and development.
Since then, CECI Uganda has been working with over 58,524 youth and youth to stop violence and increase social cohesion in refugees and host communities in West Nile, Uganda. We campaigned against all forms of hate speech and incitement to violence and provided community-based and data-driven solutions to the problem of hate speech, disinformation, and misinformation. We have also strengthened local peace structures to respond to and prevent conflicts, rebuilt the livelihoods of 5,951 youth, women and girls, increased their safety and wellbeing, and improved access to education for over 5000 children.
With the outbreak of COVID-19 in Uganda, CECI Uganda was one of the first responders to the COVID-19 crisis in refugee settlements, mobilizing resources, spearheading public health awareness, increasing access to online education and personal protective equipment, and providing livelihood support, reaching over 9389 children, youth, women, the elderly, and people with disabilities in 2020 alone.
Today, CECI Uganda‘s services have expanded to benefit 147,098 refugees and hosts in Koboko, Yumbe, and Obongi districts, leveraging the power of creative and collaborative efforts to address and assist refugees in adapting to the effects of COVID-19, recovering better, and building resilience for a more equal, sustainable, and healthier community. We increase their access to education, financial resources, knowledge, and skills in conflict resolution and peacebuilding, business, technology, entrepreneurship, and vocational training.

World Action Fund (WAF) is an indigenous, NGO operating in Arua, Yumbe, Maracha districts in West Nile sub-region and coordinating office Kampala that is committed to finding sustainable solutions to poverty and emergencies.

Volunteering in Uganda
Volunteering in Uganda is a project initiated with an aim of reaching out to the various needs within our society. Among these include; vulnerable people, wildlife, water and environment, Agriculture, human rights, etc.
Volunteering project looks at providing a safe healthy environment that could accommodate life and any kind of living. There are various programs that are currently running under this project among which include; Elderly program, Childcare/Orphanage program, Widows program, Disabled program, HIV/AIDS program, Youth program, Water and sanitation, Healthcare program, Human rights and Community development program.
Our major objective is to avail an opportunity to everybody out there that has a zeal of changing and transforming a society positively basing on the mentioned needs. Therefore, we do welcome volunteers all over the world to come be part of transforming societies here in Uganda.

Tuyambe is a German Charity Organization registered in 2000 and driven by the philosophy of Every human has the right to a safe and secure livelihood, but for many these rights are denied. Born into extreme poverty and violence, people have no one to protect them. We are touching the lives of various communities in countries like Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Kenya and South Africa.
Founded in April 2000, Tuyambe seeks to help and support the disadvantaged people and vulnerable children across East Africa and Uganda in particular.
Through its vision and mission, it seeks to restore hope to the broken while empowering lives and transforming communities with a holistic approach.
